JRCC is looking to hire a Construction Supervisor to join our team.

The construction supervisor acts as the primary onsite manager, directing daily operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. They bridge the gap between project managers and field staff by planning tasks, enforcing building codes, and solving immediate site problems. 

Key responsibilities of a construction supervisor include:

  • Site Management & Supervision: Organizing and directing, supervising construction workers, and overseeing subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Implementing and enforcing strict safety standards, conducting site inspections, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Planning daily/weekly activities, scheduling tasks, and ensuring materials and equipment are available.
  • Quality Control & Reporting: Monitoring work quality to meet specifications and preparing progress reports for stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Addressing technical issues, delays, or disputes on-site to minimize downtime. 

Key skills for this role include leadership, strong communication, extensive knowledge of construction methods, and the ability to read blueprints.
